An organisation committed to delivering high-quality, reliable and secure IT services to the people and partner agencies.Position : Service Desk AnalystLocation : South of RiverPosition type : 6-month contractYour new role Seeking talented IT-minded people to join the team to aid in the delivery of effective and timely IT Support. Be the first point of contact, responsible for logging and management of all tickets (requests, incidents), providing telephone support, ticket resolution utilising remote desktop technologies. Key dutiesDeliver first contact remote IT support to provide both response and resolution in a timely manner to incidents or requests with a focus on quality over quantityConduct analysis, classify, and forward service tickets to relevant support groups via service management toolsets.Develop and maintain relationships by contributing to virtual teams across the organisational model to ensure the delivery of best practice services. What you'll need to succeed A formal tertiary qualification in an Information Technology field, or equivalent Information Technology experience.Demonstrated experience in remote IT support, supporting a broad range of IT services including:AD/Exchange object creation/manipulationNetwork services, both local and wide areaVideoconferencing/IP telephony servicesMicrosoft Windows-based workstation environments in an Active Directory framework, PC hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.Only Australian citizens are requested to apply as there will be a requirement to obtain baseline/security clearances.
