Service Engineer - Medical Devices

In order to meet the real needs of our customers, we search and use the latest production technologies, the most advanced materials and equipment and our staff is continuously trained to be the most competent in the field.Positions available: 2 with locations in Gilau, Cluj County, RO & Popesti-Leordeni, Ilfov, ROOverall Purpose of the Job:The Medical Service Engineer will ensure the installation, testing, and repair of medical equipment intended for ambulances and other special vehicles (e.g., defibrillators, infusion pumps, ventilators, incubators, etc.), as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for each service intervention.Responsibilities:Preparing medical equipment for installation in ambulances.Installing medical devices in vehicles according to technical specifications and quality standards.Performing repairs, technical inspections, and corrective electrical/electronic interventions on medical devices, as well as on auxiliary equipment installed in special vehicles, including service work related to the vehicle body.Participating in initial verification activities for specific emergency medical devices, with the possibility of expanding responsibilities as competencies develop.Completing the necessary documentation for each service operation in the Service management application (intervention sheets, inspection reports, etc.).Availability for travel for equipment installations or service interventions.Active participation in training courses, educational sessions, and other professional development activities.Requirements:Higher education in electrical, electrotechnical, or electronic engineering (a degree in medical equipment technology is an advantage).Relevant technical experience in a similar role (preferably ≥ 3 years).Category B driving license with driving experience (preferably ≥ 3 years).English language (at least upper-intermediate level – ability to understand technical documentation and communicate effectively in both written and spoken English).Availability for planned, occasional travel.Skills and CompetenciesStrong practical skills in electrical and mechanical fields.Knowledge of using electrical measuring and testing devices (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).Good computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), software installation, experience with ERP systems (e.g., ASIS, SAP, Oracle).Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on thorough documentation of all service activities.Proactivity, self-learning attitude, a strong results- and continuous-learning mindset.Team spirit, excellent communication skills, tact in dealing with others.AdvantagesKnowledge of electronics and/or previous experience in medical equipment servicing.Interest in long-term professional development within the company.Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes.*Candidates who possess the qualifications and are able to demonstrate their ability to meet the specific requirements of the role are well-positioned to succeed !So, if you have what it takes, we kindly invite you to apply! :)Info: cariere@deltamed.ro+40 727 758 423
