ResponsibilitiesConduct and facilitate risk assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.Implement and maintain a robust safety management system, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.Identify potential hazards associated with chlor-alkali processes, including chemical handling, electrical systems, and construction activities, and implement appropriate control measures.Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations, codes, and standards.Develop and deliver SHE training programs for construction personnel, promoting a strong safety culture and awareness.Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring personnel are adequately trained and equipped to handle potential emergencies.Coordinate SHE activities with other disciplines, such as engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless integration of safety measures. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in safety engineering or a related role, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and complianceHave the K3 specialist certifications (OHS Specialist and or Fire Specialist)Experience in Petrochemical or chemical industry is a mustUnderstanding of basic process safety and hazard recognition principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in process safety or related engineering fieldFamiliarity with safety regulations and standards such as OSHA, EPA, and NFPAWilling to work as contract based (1 year), and this position will be placed at site office project.Important NotesChandra Asri is only releasing official job posting at Chandra Asri Career Site (careers.capcx.com), Linkedin & Jobstreet.
