Shipping and Store Assistant (Warehouse)

Job description:Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience and Shipping software knowledge.Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.Organize and arrange stock in designated storage areas.Monitor stock levels and report low inventory to management.Ensure proper storage conditions and rotation of goods (FIFO method).Update inventory management system with receipts, transfers, and dispatches.Keep warehouse and store areas clean, organized, and safe.Assist with store displays and product replenishment as needed.Support customer orders by picking, packing, and preparing items for collection or delivery.Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys, and hand trucks.Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.Prepare delivery notes, packing slips, and shipping labels.Document any discrepancies or damages and report to supervisor.Assist with monthly inventory reports and stocktaking activities.Prepare outgoing shipments including packing, labeling, and documentation.Coordinate with courier services and logistics providers for pickups and deliveries.Track shipments and update delivery status in the system.Handle returns and damaged goods according to company procedures.
