Remote in Philippines | Full-Time | OutsourcedInAbout the RoleOutsourcedIn is partnering with a fast-growing Australian business seeking a highly skilled Short-Form Video Editor & Social Media Designer to produce engaging, high-converting content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.This is a creative-meets-performance role. You will not just “make content” — you will create scroll-stopping videos and visuals that drive engagement, leads, and sales.We are looking for someone who understands modern attention spans, hooks, pacing, captions, and platform-specific editing styles.Core ResponsibilitiesShort-Form Video Editing (Primary Focus)Edit 10–25 short-form videos per week (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)Add dynamic captions (burned-in subtitles)Apply hooks within first 3 secondsIncorporate music, transitions, zoom effects, and trend formattingOptimise videos for vertical (9:16) formatRepurpose long-form content into short-form cutsGraphic DesignDesign static posts, carousels, thumbnailsCreate branded templates for consistencyDevelop ad creatives for paid campaignsMaintain consistent visual identity across platformsPlatform-Specific ExecutionUnderstand trends and editing styles per platformOptimise exports and dimensions correctlySupport organic and paid social campaignsPerformance AwarenessCollaborate with marketing team to improve content performanceReview engagement metrics and adapt accordinglyTest hooks, formats and messaging stylesSkills & Experience RequiredMinimum 2+ years in social media design and video editingStrong experience in:Adobe Premiere Pro OR CapCut OR Final CutAfter Effects (basic animation skills preferred)Canva (for quick-turn projects)Experience creating short-form content for:Instagram ReelsTikTokYouTube ShortsStrong understanding of:HooksRetentionCall-to-action placementSocial trendsExperience working with Australian or Western brands preferredPersonal AttributesFast turnaround timeHigh attention to detailStrong visual instinctsComfortable receiving direct feedbackProactive and trend-awarePerformance-driven mindset (not ego-driven creative)KPIsWeekly volume of completed editsEngagement rate improvementHook retention (first 3 seconds)Ad creative performance (if applicable)Turnaround time (24–48 hours preferred)Bonus PointsMotion graphics capabilitiesPaid ads creative experience (Meta/TikTok)Experience editing for personal brands or foundersExperience in agency environmentsWhat Success Looks Like (90 Days)Consistent production workflow establishedBranded template system createdImproved engagement metricsReliable turnaround and minimal revision cycles
