Site Safety Supervisor - Kulai, Johor

Job description:Assist the site SHO on various tasks, in the documentation and implementation of the company/department OSH programs.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, FMA 1967 (Bowec), EQA 1974, CIDB, and other related acts, guidelines, & instruction.Advise employers on best practices and measures for ensuring safety.Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify any potential hazardsMonitor, inspect, and correct any unsafe practices or conditions at the project site.Collaborate with contractor safety supervisors to ensure subcontractors are adhering to safety regulations.Ensure all subcontractors are compliant with OSHA, FMA, and other related regulations.Investigate and report any incidents, accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, poisoning, or diseases that occur on the project site.Participate in HSE committees and execute HSE inspections and audits.Monitor and maintain KPIs related to safetyOversee all the workplace activities to ensure they are up todate and meet the safety standard.Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by managementJob requirements:Candidate should possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalentMust have Yellow BookMinimum 2-3 years of working experience in the construction field is preferred.Applicants must be willing to work in Sedenak, Kulai, JohorApplicants must be willing to work on every Saturday (8AM - 1PM)
