Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Social Media Specialist located in Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging social media content, managing and executing content calendars and bringing your expertise to the agency's campaigns.What you'll be doing:Creating and executing monthly content calendars for brandsCommunity management and serve as the voice for our clientsCreative ideation and trend tracking for the next big thing on social mediaShooting video and photography for our brand activationsPerformance reporting Assist with administrative tasks related to the social media portfolioRequirements:Experience using social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram YouTube, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest and Meta.Based in the Toronto areaExperience in social media analytics and reportingCreative, self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines2+ years of proven experience of social media managementProficiency with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro)A portfolio of content you've createdComfortable being scrappy and quick reacting to trendsA plus: A personal social media profile with regular posting and good engagement A huge plus: has experience with videography/editing
