TasksRegular Tasks Calibration and Validation activities on Vehicles in different Proving grounds Calibration and Validation activities on HiL/DiL/PWT Rig Creation of procedures and documentation to describe calibration activities Creation of Reporting about Calibration Activities Support SW Calibration Experts for achieving Target Vehicle Attributes Creation of Matlab/Excel tools for Data Postprocessing Review and maintenance of the SW behind each featureOccasional Tasks Validation activity in Model-In-The-Loop environment Follow Software Development department Responsibilities: Follow guidelines provided by Head, Manager and Experts Define the base calibration of Vehicle Controls Features Follow the calibration development and check Vehicle Performances. Release Controls Calibration parameters to Product owner for SW implementation Track all SW releases for calibration parameters check Collaborate with internal and external team for SW Improvement proposal Actively follow activities on Proving ground (spares and material needed, Testing planning) Required skills and competences: Good knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics, Powertrain and Brake principles and main actuators or controls for vehicle motion Experience as a controls or SW engineer within the Automotive/Motorsport industry. Knowledge and understanding of embedded control systems. Understanding of requirements capture tools such as Jira/Jama. Experience of mainstream automotive ECU hardware and software development following ISO26262 or IEC61508 processes and hands-on experience with accordingly structured testing. Expert user of Software development tools e.g. ETAS Inca, ETAS MDA, Vector CANape, Vector CANalyzer. Matlab, Simulink, MS Office package.
