All of our systems are running in the AWS cloud and we make extensive use of AWS services.Joining our engineering team means you'll be actively shaping the company's future by driving innovation with state-of-the-art technologies.About the job opportunityThis is a technical role with frequent liaison with everyone in the engineering and product teams, so good communication skills are vital. You will be a part of all testing activities and you will author new test suites and maintain existing ones so that everyone can run automated tests. Be prepared to participate in exploratory testing activities in order to better understand some of our most complex systems.What Will I Be Doing?As a member of the Quality Assurance team you will:Daily communicate with software and product developers, system administrators and stakeholders in order to identify testing requirements, on a daily basis.Participate in the software development life cycle and provide QA-related feedback. Keep track of quality assurance metrics and know when to raise a red flag.Propose and implement detailed, meaningful and maintainable test suites for automated smoke, integration and end-to-end testing.Spread the QA culture and train internal teams to use the test suites that you help create.What skills do I need?You should be familiar with translating requirements and acceptance criteria to test cases, test suites, both manual and automated and executing them.You will need experience with Java and be willing to cultivate skills in the language. You will also need hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, and Jenkins.In an ideal world, you will have a deep understanding of all the systems that make an HTTP round trip possible and be used to testing REST APIs using tools like Postman as well as in automated tests.Υou will need to be observant, with strong attention-to-detail skills. You have the patience and persistence to thoroughly check the same piece of code or feature again and again, until all required tests pass.Greek candidates need to have fulfilled military obligations Fluency in Greek and good command of English language are required.Where will I be working?Our current policy over office attendance is that of a hybrid model allowing our engineers to work remotely while meeting up a few times per week at the office.Engineers that are based outside Athens are considered fully remote employees while always being welcome to join us at the office for a team event!What happens when I apply?The first step in our hiring process is to review your CV.
