We might have the perfect opportunity for you!We are looking for a Solution Designer for Konecranes Data Platform development, to join our IT Data to Knowledge organisation. In this role you will be joining a team which enables Konecranes wide digital transformation through the next generation data platform capabilities, analytics and data science.This position reports to Manager, BI & KDP development.Your daily work includes designing fit-for-purpose data platform solutions (with or without a data warehouse), leading the end-to-end data delivery development from source system to the front-end application, and ensuring quality solutions that are compliant and following architectural guidelines.Your key responsibilities:Leading the development of end-to-end data delivery solutions from data ingestion to data delivery and ensuring performance and quality in itDesign work of Data models, Data Mart, Reporting layer or any part of the solutionsDesign work of Data loading jobs, DB objects (Views, Stored Procedures etc.)Design work of Lakehouse layers (Databricks)Ensuring code review & design compliance according to architecture guidelines and technology provider recommendationsSupporting business analytics and data science requirements formulation for data solutionsDefining guidelines and practices for technical design and implementation by development partners and AMSContinuously developing and maintaining your professional and technical expertiseQualificationsWhat should you bring:To succeed in this position, you haveA degree in Computer Science or similarHands-on experience in working with data integration and processing tools of MS AzureKnowledge on data warehousing concepts, SQL, CI/CD techniques, Power BIKnowledge on Data lakehouse concept, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric is considered an advantageSkills for conceping, architecture, planning and change managementExperience with business application data, especially SAPFluent written and spoken English, with great communication skillsGood problem solving skillsAnalytical, systematic way of working and a service mindsetThis role is ideal for you if you have proven record of building data warehouse solutions and reports, and desire to move more into end-to-end solution design and building a common data platform.Additional InformationWhy join us?You will join an international and dynamic working environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
