Sourcing Specialist

The Sourcing Manager will have to manage the goal of providing competitive products to the market and profitable business to our organization. Initiation and execution of market potential analysis including gap analysis is a primary assignment to support directions (material/technical roadmap) future activities to increase profitability and competitiveness but also sales development accordingly to hit defined targets. It will also include leading cross-functional teams to implement and further improvement of our marketing tools. This position will interact cross-functional and partly on a global level.Responsibilities:Identify and ensure the achievement of new profitable business, and revenue targets in close coordination with internal and external management.Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors (All parts of the world)Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the requirements of the technical and commercial specificationsAdvise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing terms & conditionsIn charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedulesResolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendorsAssist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendorsEvaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices andEnsure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectationResponsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirementsUndertake any other ad-hoc duties as assignedJob Specifications:5 to 10 years of UAE experience in the Sourcing and development of auto care products/FMCG/Beauty especially .Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.Self-starter, Can-do attitude, Cross-functional skillsHigh level of numeracyQualification:Business or procurement-related degree or equivalent technical degreeBusiness to consumer experience
