Job Description: Spa ManagerReports to: Operation Director Supervises: Spa Therapists (approx. 60 persons)Position ObjectiveTo lead, manage, and develop the spa operations to achieve excellence in service, sales, and therapist performance. The Spa Manager ensures that every guest receives a high-quality and relaxing experience, while maintaining operational efficiency, cost control, and staff productivity across all spa and onsen services.Key Responsibilities1. Spa Operations & Service QualitySupervise daily spa operations to ensure a smooth guest experience and high service standards.Ensure all treatment rooms and facilities are clean, safe, and fully equipped.Monitor guest feedback and handle complaints promptly and professionally.Maintain and enforce spa hygiene and safety standards in compliance with company policy and local health regulations.2. Therapist & Staff ManagementSupervise, coach, and motivate approximately 60 spa therapists and support staff to achieve optimal performance.Oversee therapist scheduling and ensure proper workforce allocation during peak and off-peak hours.Conduct regular performance evaluations, skill assessments, and re-training sessions.Foster a positive and professional work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.3. Sales & Revenue ManagementDrive spa sales through treatment promotions, product upselling, membership packages, and customer loyalty programs.Monitor daily sales performance, utilization rate, and revenue per therapist/hour.Collaborate with the marketing and operation teams to create seasonal offers and special campaigns.Ensure revenue and cost targets are achieved according to monthly and annual budgets.4. Training & Service ExcellenceMaintain therapist skill standards and ensure all treatments meet brand protocols and techniques.Coordinate with the Training Manager to conduct skill enhancement and customer service training.Observe therapist performance during treatments to ensure consistency, safety, and quality.5. Stock & Inventory ControlManage spa stock including oils, creams, towels, and consumables.Implement accurate stock control systems (e.g. daily usage logs, monthly inventory checks).Coordinate with procurement to ensure sufficient stock without over-ordering or waste.6. Reporting & AdministrationPrepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on revenue, performance, stock, and customer feedback.Analyze business performance metrics and recommend operational improvements.Monitor attendance, leave, and punctuality of staff under supervision.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Spa Management, or related field.Minimum 3-5 years experience in spa or wellness operations, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Excellent knowledge of spa operations, massage techniques, and wellness service standards.Good communication skills in Thai and English.Ability to manage a large team (50–60 staff) and handle multi-branch operations if required.Service-minded personality with a focus on quality, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.
