Job DescriptionAs a Specialist – Talent Acquisition (Technology), you will recruit potential employees interested in Technology related positions (especially for Data Centers, Technical/IT positions, aggressive Sales professionals) at Wesco via recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other sources with emphasis on sourcing passive candidates. You will be a point of contact with candidates and confirm interview schedules. While checking candidates work history, competency and other qualifications. You will make offers and engage with candidates through pre-boarding and assist in developing interview questions with hiring manager.ResponsibilitiesDetermines appropriate sourcing strategy for Asia positions (hiring into Data Centers, Technical/IT positions, aggressive Sales persons, Sales Operations, etc) to be filled.Meets regularly with hiring managers to determine business need, advise on market conditions and calibrate expectations for hiring process.Ensures candidate has fulfilled all requirements in manual applicant tracking system.Proactively sources and interviews candidates and presents qualified prescreened candidates to hiring manager who are based globally.Dispositions candidates at appropriate time during hiring process.Follows steps as defined by hiring process (process-driven).Emphasizes importance of recruiting diverse workforce by presenting diverse slate of candidates.Accepts personal responsibility for perpetuating Wesco’s reputation as “The Employer of Choice”QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Technology/IT-related required2 years required experience in Technology recruiting and staffing2 years required working knowledge of applicant tracking system(s)1 year working knowledge of social media relative to the recruiting of candidatesUnderstanding of recruiting policies and practices and employment lawOrganizational and multi-tasking skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills and language proficiency for screening/hiring into AsiaProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookAbility to execute daily tasks with limited supervisionAbility to learn software packagesMust be flexible and adaptableAbility to analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions1-year preferred experience in similar industryAbility to conduct behavioral interviews to assess candidate capability in a fast-moving environmentAbout The TeamAt Wesco, we build, connect, power and protect the world.
