Now is your time to become a game changer and join the workforce that will plan and deliver this extraordinary and unforgettable experience.THE POSITIONReporting organisationally to the Manager, Organisational Training Delivery, the Specialist, Organzational Training will be a key member of the FIFA26 Workforce Management team, and work in close collaboration with operational delivery Functional Areas (Departments) within FIFA26, as well as Planning, Integration & Readiness, People & Culture in FIFA Zurich, and other key individuals responsible for delivering a cohesive, consistent, and operationally appropriate training programme for the FIFA World Cup 26.The main responsibilities and oversights of the Specialist, Organisational Training Delivery for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:Training Content & Instructional DesignDesign and develop engaging, scalable, and context-specific training content tailored to the operational demands of the FIFA World Cup 2026, including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, and job-specific materials. Collaborate with subject matter experts across Functional Areas (e.g., Security, Venue Operations, Accreditation, Workforce, Volunteer Management) to translate complex procedures into clear, practical learning experiences. Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to create content that supports operational readiness and enhances workforce performance during tournament time. Adapt global training frameworks to local contexts, ensuring cultural relevance, accessibility, and alignment with event standards and policies. Continuously evaluate and refine training content based on learner feedback, assessments, approvals and operational insightsLearning Management System OversightManage the daily operations and administration of the Tournament Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless access, functionality, and integration across all workforce groups, including staff, vendors and suppliers . Manage course setup, enrollment, and tracking to ensure accurate reporting on training completion, compliance, and readiness across multiple functional areas. Collaborate with Technology, Workforce, and Integration teams to implement system enhancements, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize user experience during peak training periods. Maintain data integrity and generate dashboards and reports to support leadership in monitoring training progress and operational preparedness. Provide ongoing system support and training for internal users, functional area leads, and external partners to ensure consistent adoption and understanding of the LMS and related tools. Training Coordination and Project ManagementSupport the development and implementation of training plans that align with tournament deliverables and departmental needs. Assist in coordinating with department heads and training providers to gather and document training needs. Contribute to the design of training journeys across client groups, ensuring consistency and operational relevance. In collaboration with FA/Dept Leads training delivery mechanisms for whole client group training sessions and support/provide guidance to Functional Areas on appropriate training schedules, venues, and resources to ensure timely and effective delivery of training programs. Ensure training programs are consistent, culturally appropriate, and tailored to meet the specific needs of different regions (US, Canada, and Mexico). Support the creation and distribution of training materials, ensuring accessibility and regional appropriateness. Track and report on the progress of training initiatives, managing any changes, delays, or risks. Ensure training activities support operational readiness and delivery timelines. Proven experience managing Training or Learning and Development projects across multiple countries or regions (US, Canada, and Mexico) is highly desirable. Certification in training Design and Delivery or Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to effectively balance stakeholder expectations with appropriate delivery requirements; unafraid to push back on deliverables that do not fit within these parametres. Work Experience 5 years of experience designing and delivering Training/Learning and Development programmes in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated experience of utilising strong organizational skills and attention to detail to execute detailed planningSignificant experience designing and delivering Training/L&D programmes within the Sporting Industry/large-scale events. LanguagesFluent in English (written and spoken)Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plusTechnology Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration toolsExperience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training software tools, Learning Pool and Paycom LMS is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., WeTrack, Monday.com).
