Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of customized tubular sections (shaped tubes) and profiles in India. With over 40 years of experience in shaping sheet metal and growing business opportunities across the country, the decades-old standard ERW steel tube and simple roll-formed profile manufacturing facility has evolved to manufacture customized steel tubes.Key Requirements For ShortlistingExperience: 5–8 years in Automotive / Engineering industry Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Certifications (preferred any one): RLI / CLI / IIISM / Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Industrial Safety Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, PCB requirements, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards.Stability: Minimum 3 years in the same organization (frequent job changes will not be considered) Communication: Good communication skills Location Preference: Candidate should be from Karnataka and must be fluent in Kannada (read, write & speak) Work Location: Jigani (Near Indlawadi Cross) Key Job ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Legal RequirementsEnsure compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulations, including:Fire NOC, Building plan approval, Building stability certificate.PCB-related requirements: Consent to Establish (CTE), Consent to Operate (CTO), ETP & STP compliance, Hazardous/Bio-Medical waste authorization, Annual returns, and Manifest tracking.Reply to PCB notices, inspection reports, and ensure timely renewals of approvals.Maintain records and documentation as per statutory formats (Form-3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 27, 40).ISO & Management SystemsImplement and maintain ISO 45001 (OHSMS) and ISO 14001 (EMS) standards.Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and ensure closure of non-conformities.Support green building initiatives and sustainability goals with IGBC knowledge.Safety ManagementConduct risk assessments and prepare Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA).Implement Aspect Impact Analysis (AIA) for environmental management.Ensure safe work practices through work permit systems for high-risk jobs.Conduct incident/accident investigations and drive corrective & preventive actions.Training & AwarenessConduct induction training for all new employees and contractors.Organize regular toolbox talks, safety awareness programs, and refresher trainings.Lead emergency preparedness activities including mock drills for fire and other emergencies.Prepare and update safety training materials for employees at all levels.Emergency & Fire SafetyEnsure periodic testing, maintenance, and readiness of firefighting equipment (extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, alarms).Conduct fire safety training programs for Emergency Response Team (ERT).Ensure compliance with fire prevention measures and Fire NOC conditions.Environmental ManagementMonitor effluent treatment plant (ETP) and sewage treatment plant (STP) operations to ensure compliance with PCB norms.Facilitate periodic environmental monitoring through NABL-certified labs.Promote energy conservation, waste reduction, and sustainable practices in line with ISO & IGBC.Reporting & CoordinationRespond to PCB, Factory Inspector, and other regulatory inspection notices.Prepare reports on EHS performance for management review.Conduct safety committee meetings with equal representation from management and employees.Skills: compliance,environment, health, and safety (ehs),pcb,iso,automotive,manufacturing
