Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionMain Tasks & Responsibilities To update the Customs Policies timely and evaluate and deliver the updated Customs Policies to the relevant departments Complete other work assigned by the line manager E-book, bonded material and compliance managementResponsible for the updating application to support the logistics team to make sure the related datacompletely and rightly and maintain the E-book system running smoothly.Responsible for customs cycle count both internal and external coordination to handle the E-book balanceverification and improve the implementation with Customs Rules.Responsible for keeping the import and export data balance monthly and paying the tax to Customs forthe reasonable bonded materials and disposing the issues with Customs Policy.Support the line manager to manage the bonded business and check the database for the compliance oftrading.External communication with Customs officers to understand the custom regulation and tradecompliance requirements, converted into internal requirements for bonded trading compliancemanagement, and conduct compliance management in bonded business.Support manager to pass the AEO Audit Biological materials import & export, risk assessment, follow-upResponsible for High-risk special goods risk assessment, permit application, follow-up supervision andmanagement.Responsible for biological material and reagents import & export and assisting customs inspectionExternal communication with Customs officers to understand the custom regulation and biologicalmaterials compliance requirements, converted into internal requirements for biological materialscompliance management, and conduct compliance management in biological materials business.Support the line manager to manage the biological materials import & export business and check thedatabase for the compliance of biological materials.Support the line manager to complete biological materials related reports required by the customs Import & export of biological material, instrument, spare part and toolCoordinate with the stakeholders and support collection of the HS coding information of instrumentconfiguration, spare part and tools.Complete the importation feasibility analysis of the instrument configuration, spare part and toolContribute to the establishment of logistics process in instrument transfer projectApply for the necessary import permit for instrument configuration, spare part and toolComplete the daily import and transportation activities, communicate with external vendor and internalstakeholders to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of instrument configuration, spare part and toolimportation.Support Customs audit and inspection of instrumentExternal communication with Customs officers to understand the custom regulation and compliancerequirements for instrument importation, converted into internal requirements for instrumentcompliance management, and conduct compliance management in instrument business.Support the line manager to manage the instrument import & export business and check the database forthe compliance of instrument business.Support the line manager to complete instrument related reports required by the customsQualification & ExperienceMinimum 5 years work experience in import & export or logistics; E-book verification, analysis of material balance experience; or high-risk special goods risk assessment, permit application experience; or equivalencyFamiliar with customs laws and regulationsFamiliarity with ERPFamiliarity with Customs permit systemWorking knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word,Excel, PowerPoint, Project)Who we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
