We have a friendly and flexible team of nurses with good retention of staff.To provide nursing care to a caseload of patients and to provide verbal and written handovers to nursing colleagues and the multi disciplinary team and using the computer with the trust clinical programs.When responsible for the ward/department to ensure that individualised programmes of care are formulated and carried out fully for each patient on the ward/department (up to 26 patients in a ward area).Providing day to day care duties to a 26 bedded unit.Being proactive in MDT and Discharge approach.Being able to work within high pressured environment.Being able to use all systems and document all care.All nursing duties to be carried out in scope of practice.We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, covering one of the largest geographical areas of any NHS trust in the country.
