The business is scaling through a targeted buy-and-build strategy, acquiring owner-led businesses and integrating them into a unified national platform. With strong momentum, a recently appointed CFO, and multiple acquisitions underway, the senior team is now hiring an M&A Associate to support continued growth.The OpportunityThis is a hands-on M&A role working directly with the CEO and leadership team. You’ll be embedded at the centre of the buy-and-build strategy, supporting deal sourcing, execution, integration and strategic value creation across multiple live transactions. Clear progression is available as the platform grows and internal M&A capability expands.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the full M&A lifecycle: sourcing, diligence, modelling, investment papers and execution.Coordinate workstreams across legal, financial, commercial and operational functions.Prepare concise materials for internal leadership and investor discussions.Work alongside the COO to support post-deal integration and alignment of newly acquired businesses.Over time, take increasing ownership of deal execution and project delivery as the pipeline scales.Candidate Profile2–5 years’ experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Private Equity or Transaction Services (Big 4, banking or buy-side).Strong analytical and project management skills; able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment — hands-on and proactive.Confident communicator, able to build credibility with founders and senior leadership.Exposure to technical services, infrastructure or operationally intensive businesses is useful but not essential.
