Business Analyst

Search are supporting the recruitment of a Business Analyst to join our client’s Cash & Cards Operations team in Edinburgh. This is a specialist role based fully on site offering the opportunity to apply your deep understanding of card payment processes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.About the RoleAs Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with product, technology, and operations teams to resolve complex customer enquiries and executive complaints, while helping to shape and improve payment processes. You’ll play a key role in supporting the development of tools, training materials, and operational playbooks for new payment products.Key Responsibilities:Investigate and resolve complex cash and card issues escalated from frontline teamsCollaborate with Product and Operations teams to design customer journeysGather requirements and support the development of tools and processesDeliver training and create documentation for Contact Centre and Ops teamsMaintain and update operational playbooks for new payment productsSkills and experience you’ll ideally have:In-depth knowledge of card payment processes including transaction lifecycle, authorisation, clearing, and settlementExperience with Visa or MasterCard schemesFamiliarity with ISO8583 format (preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesAbility to work under pressure with high attention to detailA relevant degree or financial qualification (beneficial)What’s in it for you:A salary range of circa 50k - 60k, depending on experienceOpportunity to work in a dynamic, specialist teamExposure to diverse payment products and schemesCareer development within a high-performing organisationTo apply or find out more, please submit your CV at the earliest opportunity and/or get in touch.
