Staff Product Manager (Equity Foundations)

We encourage diversity and are an international team coming from 26 different countries and speaking 25 different languages.About the Role:As a Staff Product Manager (reporting into the Head of Product) your job is to help us make equity work for our customers. Your primary focus will be to scale the most foundational parts of our platform as we expand across new markets globally and move upmarket to serve the largest public businesses: equity types, transactions and vesting. You will balance simplicity and flexibility while ensuring data accuracy and driving adoption of these core components through other teams.At Ledgy you will:Develop a deep understanding of the equity management market as well as our customers, their pains and jobs-to-be-done. Over time, become a subject matter expert for your domain and act as point of contact for internal and external stakeholdersSystematically analyze qualitative customer feedback, quantitative usage data and product gaps in collaboration with Design, Engineering and customer-facing business partnersDefine the vision and strategy for the heart of our product (transactions & effects, vesting and other foundational building blocks), in collaboration with product and engineering leadershipDefine, plan, and execute a roadmap to bring our equity and cap table management to the next level so that finance and legal teams can trust their equity data is accurate and compliantAlign your team around strategic goals, relevant KPIs, and track success metrics for measuring impactBreak down complex problems and write clear documentation in collaboration with Design, Engineering, financial reporting experts, and product leadershipManage product delivery in an agile setting and support your team in all sprint activitiesDrive product launches through cross-functional work with Product Marketing and other go-to-market teamsSupport shaping the future of our product best practices to achieve the best business outcomesIn the first 30 days:Be paired with an onboarding buddy who will introduce you to the world of equity management as well as the whole Ledgy teamGet to know the Equity Foundations team engineers, design and domain expertsUnderstand the complexity, breadth and depth of Ledgy as a platformWatch call recordings, shadow customer & prospect calls and get in front of your first real customerStart contributing to roadmap discussions with guidance from team membersIn the first 60 days:Develop a deep understanding of the regulatory and business requirements our customers faceFully master Ledgy's value proposition, understand our product capabilities and competitive landscapeUnderstand the data models and key architectural patterns that power Ledgy and their dependenciesTake ownership of key features and product initiativesLead sprint planning and collaborate on technical specificationsIn the first 90 days:Help shape the technical and product direction of our core productCreate a vision to power the evolution of our platform to support enterprise-scale customers with a global footprint that balances simplicity and flexibility while ensuring data accuracyContribute to PM best practicesThe job is a great fit if you:Have a minimum of 8+ years experience in Product Management, building customer-facing B2B SaaS productsHave relevant experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile setting applying ScrumUnderstand financial systems and compliance frameworksHave scaled complex products across jurisdictions in regulated or compliance heavy spaces (e.g. banking, payroll, etc). You don’t shy away from detailed legal documentation and specs.Are a fast learner and have a strong technical understanding and passion to solve deep problemsThink horizontally, can easily spot dependencies and seek opportunities to improve the platform holisticallyHave a strong sense of accountability, ownership and outstanding solution focusBreak down silos and work collaboratively in a result-oriented wayAre well versed with AI tools that increase your and the team’s efficiency, allow you to move fast and focus on what really mattersHave excellent verbal and written communication and story telling skills; fluent in EnglishNice to Haves:Background in financial services or FintechTechnical background, e.g. Masters in Engineering etcPreviously worked as a PM in a horizontal / platform-adjacent type of teamPrior experience with equity management
