Job PurposeTo ensure the Shift activities on quality parameters are working in good condition and maintaining BIS records.Job Context & Major ChallengesUltraTech Cement Limited has an annual capacity of 116.75 million tonnes. It manufactures andmarkets Ordinary Portland Cement, Portland Slag Cement and Portland Pozzalana Cement. It also manufactures ready mix concrete RMC. The Company has 23 integrated plants, 26 grinding units, 7 bulk terminals including one in Sri Lanka and 5 captive jetties which includes significant presence in the Middle East with 2 grinding units and 1 clinkerisation plant in UAE, and 1 grinding unit in Bahrain.UltraTech Cement is the country largest exporter of cement clinker.Sewagram Cement Works was commissioned in 2009.The plant has clinker capacity of 3.6 MTPA and cement capacity of 2.4 MTPA. The Unit has twocaptive power plants (CPP) CPP-I with 35 MV and CPP-II with 22.5 MV capacity. The Unit hasmines with reserve of 246.45 MT, a captive jetty, a desalination plant that can filter around 20 lakhlitres of water every day and a bag-making plant.
