While Egypt's current recycling rates are still <15%/100M+ tons/year, we’re targeting a 40% increase in recycling, 30% landfill reduction, and scaling to 100+ units/month, tapping into a $70B+ regional market aligned with Egypt and Global ESG goals. The bigger opportunity? Turning this traction into a scalable commercial ecosystem. That’s where you come in.We’re looking for a Commercial Partner, someone who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, partnerships, and ecosystem funding. This is your chance to shape how an Egyptian deep-tech startup grows, generates revenue, and delivers environmental impact across Egypt and the region.What You'll Drive:Architect and refine DropMe’s commercial model, monetization pathways, and strategic growth leversConvert technical success into business scale, including data monetization, ESG services, and platform offeringsLead investor & grant outreach, engage VCs, climate funds, development finance, and local backersBuild strategic alliances with municipalities, FMCGs, real estate developers, and sustainability leadersCo-own customer validation, pricing, pilot design, and go-to-market experimentationRepresent DropMe in investment forums, demo days, and commercial meetings with credibility and visionCollaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to align revenue strategy with user valueYou Might Be a Great Fit If You Have:Experience in startup commercialization, venture building, or high-growth B2B/B2G venturesExposure to investment pipelines, VCs, grant bodies, accelerators, and DFIsStrategic mindset for hardware/software-enabled business models and circular economy value chainsDeep market knowledge of Egypt or MENA, and preferably based in CairoStrong communication, negotiation, and business modeling skillsThe patience and resilience needed to build a revenue engine from scratchExtra Credit If You Bring:A network in VC, ESG, smart city, or sustainability circlesPrior involvement in scaling circular economy or cleantech initiativesFinancial modeling, pricing strategy, or pilot management experienceExperience in institutional fundraising, PPPs, or smart city partnershipsWhat You'll Get:A seat at the table shaping DropMe’s future in Egypt’s green economyA flexible compensation structure, equity, and/or revenue share, based on alignmentAn opportunity to co-create a commercial blueprint that others will followReal impact: your work drives measurable behavioral and environmental changeThis is not a job.
