Tanoto Foundation Indonesia has grown in term of activities, grant size and the number of staff in the last few years. Alongside with that growth, Tanoto Foundation had evolve to focus and balancing out between program implementation and advocacy. The number of our beneficiaries also growing in all over Indonesia. As Such, a Manager position with speciality in strategic planning, partnership, and cross-cutting capabilities is needed in order to synthesize the results from programs and organizational strategic direction towards world class foundation.ORGANIZATION & PEOPLE MANAGEMENTTake ownership to achieve outstanding results and seek value at all times, trough can do attitude and hands on management trough lead by example.Keep things simple and smart and seek out the best value when making decisionsMake sure the organization align by company common purpose and work together as a complementary team and promote work together based on mutual trust and respect through direct and open in our communication with each other to promote knowledge and ideas with our colleagues and ensure each area do not operate in silos.To grow with the company to build our organization from within and promote and reward based on performance and people development, in a fair and transparent wayAct with integrity at all times by uncompromising on dishonesty and put problems and issues on the table, and act without fear or favor, as well as safeguarding company’s assets and knowledge.Understand the customers and align internally to what our customers need as well as deliver best value to them by regularly engage our customers to better understand their businesses and needs and serve our customers through stable quality, supply and service and innovate and customize our products and services to provide win-win solutions for our customers.Act with zero complacency and always strive for continuous improvement by striving to do better, faster, and at a lower cost (SQPC) and aim for today to be better than yesterday and tomorrow to be better than today by eliminating waste.Act as a thought partner to senior leadership on both portfolio strategy and governance mattersFacilitate cross-unit collaboration, ensuring that governance and strategy processes build synergies across teamsWork closely with program, P&A, MLE, and other Head Departments to align insights and organizational prioritiesRepresent Tanoto Foundation externally with partners, networks, and stakeholders in areas related to governance and strategyAny other assignment from the people manager.PROGRAM OPERATION & SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENTGovernance:Lead and serve as the Foundation’s focal point of governance, working closely with the TF ID leadership, Executive Committee, and the BoardEnsure alignment of the foundation’s policies and internal governance with best practices and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with the foundation’s senior management staff to manage internal process and propose allocation of resources related to strategy execution including but not limited to promoting inter unit collaboration and developing management, reporting, and evaluation systemStrategic operations:Manage the weekly leadership meeting, quarterly review, and BoT meetingsOversee and manage operational excellence within the organization (ONE TF, Budget, KMCI)PROGRAM STRATEGY & DEVELOPMENTConducting analytical work on strategy review and its formulation to ensure its alignment with foundation’s mission, vision, values and goals.Collaborate with broader strategy team to feed insights from the portfolio into foundational level strategyREQUIREMENTS Education / Experience10 years of working experience or more, of which at least 5 years are in strategy development, planning, or management work.Prior working experience in strategic consulting firm or in investment bank or corporate planning unit of large companies is an advantage.At the minimum, a university degree in Management or Business Administration or related fields. Specific knowledge and aptitudeExcellent communications skill.Excellent skill in report writing reports and presentations.Fluency in English and Indonesian both written and verbal.Good negotiation and conflict management skills.Altruistic, extroverted, sincere, trustworthy and dependable. Technical Business/Philanthropy understandingMust have a keen interest in philanthropy.
