A career within PwC’s Deals Strategy team offers the opportunity to advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and restructurings. You will help clients navigate complex transactions, identify risks and opportunities, and design strategies to maximize value and achieve their business objectives. As a Senior Associate you will play a critical role in shaping and executing strategies that optimize outcomes across the deal lifecycle. You will analyze market trends, evaluate business opportunities, and develop strategic frameworks that help clients make informed decisions about their deals. Some of our projects include commercial due diligence, market assessments, feasibility studies, business plan reviews, location studies, competitor benchmarking and market entry strategy. Driven by curiosity, you are a reliable and collaborative team member. Your responsibilities will include: Deals strategy project execution Conduct research and gather information from multiple sources to analyze facts and identify patterns Develop an understanding of how the business works and build commercial awareness through project exposure and training Use structured thinking and data to develop insights Comfortable using office productivity software and data analysis tools Communication and collaboration Collaborate with team members and clients to define problems and determine the right questions to ask Able to hold a different opinion and support it through evidence and analysis Actively listen, ask clarifying questions and communicate ideas clearly in writing and verbally Comfortable in social situations and able to converse well Ownership and ways of working Take ownership, manage deadlines and consistently deliver quality work Manage timelines and expectations across the team and with clients Be adaptable to work virtually or in person as required Be relentless in getting the job done and resourceful in testing hypotheses and solving problems Successful candidates will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or a related field Possesses 1-2 years of relevant experience in a related field Demonstrates initiative and can lead self and others Takes ownership and is accountable for outcomes Willingness to learn with basic knowledge of the Philippine economy and business landscape Able to grow
