Studio Artists at WongDoody support many phases of campaign development and execution. Our team is responsible for daily production of print-ready and display-ready layouts for retail collateral and print and outdoor advertising, plus ongoing presentation work for existing and prospective clients. We are responsible for ensuring accuracy and campaign and brand alignment for all print deliverables and campaign toolkits.We enjoy finding solutions to all types of production and presentation challenges. As the needs of the agency grow, Studio Artists look broaden our skillsets, individually and through recruitment. We look for detail-oriented individuals with curious streaks, solid judgment and a sense of humor.REPORTS TO: Associate Director of Production StudioEssential ResponsibilitiesWork independently and collaboratively within the Integrated Production department, collectively responsible for thousands of deliverables each year Create accurate and brand-aligned print mechanicals and digital files, working primarily with Adobe Creative Suite (approximately 80% of our production work is done in Adobe InDesign) Build projected and physical presentations using a variety of tools, including online collaboration platforms Participate in creative internals and QCs and provide input that results in high-quality, brand-aligned layouts and presentations Follow file-naming conventions and file storage best practices from setup to archive Estimate time required to complete any given set of tasks and prioritize across multiple projects and partners Develop and maintain strong and up-to-date software, hardware and production competencies Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and support the team in identifying problems early Required Knowledge/Skills/ExperienceTwo or more years of relevant experience on a collaborative creative team Strong communication skills to ensure partner expectations are understood and met Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro), MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Experience producing and delivering print-ready mechanicals using Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of printing and preflighting processes Understanding of CMYK, spot and RGB color use and file formats common to a design environment Organized, detail-oriented and comfortable in a production environment with aggressive timelines Experience using project management software and cloud-based collaboration tools Understanding of creative concept development process and brand standards MAC OS X proficiency and Windows familiarity Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues Desired Knowledge/Skills/ExperienceIdeal candidate will have experience in one or more of these areas: presentation design, packaging design, asset management, UX design, retouch, motion graphicsStudio Is/doesPrint mechanicals Quality control Presentation design Creative design support Photo retouch Digital asset development and management Brand stewardship Studio WantsPresentation design mastery Typography UX design Motion graphics AI-enabled design and workflow TO APPLY: For full consideration please upload both a resume and cover letter.THE PERKSWe’ll pay you to come work here, because we’re generous like that.
