Job Description

MAINResponsibilitiesAs a Subcontracting Coordinator, you will manage all aspects of purchasing to support organizational operations efficiently and cost-effectively. The key responsibilities include the following: Lead the sourcing process for subcontracted services, including preparing and issuing RFQs (Request for Quotations); Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity, and reliability; Define requirements, draft tender packages and handover of subcontracts and ensure proper handover to budget owner and internal stakeholders for smooth execution of the subcontract; Evaluate bids and proposals based on commercial, technical, and legal criteria; Review and negotiate legal qualifications, in corporation with the Legal Department, where necessary for issues regarding liabilities, penalties, insurances and taxes; Conduct pre-award negotiations and support contract finalization in collaboration with legal and technical teams. Monitor subcontract performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and project specifications; Provide regular updates and reports on subcontracting activities to the Procurement Manager and Project Teams; Track and manage variations, change orders and claims; Ensuring complete and correct delivery of all required materials at (project) location; Actively analyze market developments for relevant goods and services, as applicable to Company’s requirements; Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists; Work with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Legal) to resolve disputes and non-conformities; Support cost estimation and budgeting processes for new projects with subcontracting input; Develop and maintain strong relationships with key subcontractors and service providers; Incorporate Jumbo’s safety and environment policies in daily tasks.
