Employee's Effective Start Date 12/15/2025 If this is a Temporary position, provide end date or enter N/A for any other position type. 4/30/26 Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree with experience in teaching, academic support or tutoring, school psychology, social work, or a similar field within a secondary or post-secondary education setting.Experience in coaching, mentoring or counseling techniques focused on supporting students' academic success.Desired QualificationsMaster's degree in education, social work, counseling, higher ed, or similar with experience working in a higher education setting.Experience working with students on academic probation.Position PurposeThe Success Coach will work directly with students on academic probation as part of the GrizzFire program, fostering the development of students' skills, behaviors and habits that contribute to college success, and help students identify and overcome obstacles that impede academic progress. The Success Coach will collaborate with students, their advisers, and other campus partners to help connect students to university support resources. The Success Coach will manage a caseload of students, monitoring their progress through scheduled meetings, proactive outreach, and regular communication.Job DutiesProvide success coaching services to a caseload of students to support their retention and persistence.
