We’re seeking a forward-thinking Supply and Distribution Manager to lead the charge in transforming operations, driving sustainable practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.We are one of a handful of companies in Australia that invent, design, manufacture and distribute a brand-new consumer product across the world. As Supply and Distribution Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations. We keep a sharp eye on cost, but it is an exciting place to work introducing new technology to the air conditioning industry that can solve one of the world’s most significant sustainability problems. TASKSThe role includes the following tasks:Forecasts demand and inventory management in Australia, USA, Pakistan, Indonesia, Singapore and EuropePlans, directs and coordinates procurement, storage and distribution fpr supply continuity and efficient product movement·        Prepares inventory and forecasting reports for management.Develops and implements purchasing and inventory control strategies for achieving optimal stock levelsArranges appropriate insurances.Negotiates supply contracts and agreements for optimum price and performance termsManages Southeast Asia market operations including working with local retail, e-commerce and wholesale operationsMonitors warehouse and inventory management to ensure accurate stock tracking, storage and replenishmentMonitors flow of goods recording/reporting systems for timely ordering, dispatching, invoicing and compliance.Negotiates with shipping agents, customs agents and third-party logistics providers in Australia, USA, Pakistan, Indonesia, Singapore, and EuropeLiaises with suppliers, freight forwarders and clients for distribution coordinationManages verification/reconciliation of purchase, storage and distribution transactions for accurate reporting.Ensures operation meets agreed service standards, client specifications and performance objectives.Qualifications and ExperienceA qualification in Supply Chain Management and/or EngineeringA minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role demonstrating your relevant experience and achievementsBusiness computer skills An understanding of company financials (e.g. profit and loss; balance sheet) and their interrelationship  Have current Australian working rightsFluency for verbal and written business communications in English, German and Bahasa Indonesia with appropriate cultural understandingA commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and organised workplace If you’re passionate about driving results, empowering a team and problem solving then this is the role for you!
