By taking the time to recognise and reward our members, we build stronger relationships with the people who matter most.As the Commercial Performance Manager, E-Commerce, you will facilitate the prioritisation, optimisation and development of the business priorities and strategic opportunities across the Retail Tribe. You will support Retail to deliver continuous partner and product innovation, develop our protect and grow strategy, provide better stronger commercial outcomes across the E-Commerce team in order to deliver against our key objectives. You will also be responsible for identifying and prioritising business opportunities to support the Head of E-Commerce and their teams.The Commercial Performance Manager will work closely with the E-Commerce leadership team to play a key role supporting the ongoing performance of Qantas Marketplace and Qantas Wine to extract additional commercial value for E-Commerce and its partners by providing analysis, insights and decision support to the team. You will require advanced commercial modelling skills to inform strategic decision making and commercial outcomes to support the growth and strategic objectives of the commercial teams and the broader Retail team.This role involves managing various business stakeholders and communicating effectively at an executive level. Core to this commercial leadership role is collaboration and partnering with the team of E-Commerce Managers, Commercials Managers, Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Insights Managers and Finance Managers to drive commercial leadership in the development of business strategies, lead opportunity development to deliver on commercial projects and negotiations which are critical to achieving the Partnerships OKRs.What You’ll Bring7-10+ years’ experience in complex corporate environments with exposure to strategy formulation and execution, commercial finance & performance and management consultingSignificant experience supporting business performanceTertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting and CPA/CA/CFA qualifiedStrong analytical ability to model complex commercial constructsExceptional stakeholder engagement skills and ability to effectively engage at executive levelsExtensive experience in developing approved investment cases.Direct involvement in negotiation, deal structuring and due diligence.Strategic thinking skills with strong commercial and financial acumenAbility to manage multiple competing priorities and work under pressureExperience leading multi-disciplinary teams Why Qantas?You’ll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
