In this full-time permanent role you will be responsible for supporting and undertaking research using traditional and more innovative research techniques that will help improve knowledge on our members and customers as well as deliver actionable insights in the delivery of our products and services to support business outcomes across the NRMA group of companies.This role offers a hybrid work opportunity where you will be required to work across our Sydney CBD and Sydney Olympic Park offices as well as some work from home.Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited ToCollaborate with senior consultants to execute research projects, with some support from in-house or external research agenciesProvide accurate, actionable reporting and develop presentations to maximise business impactAssist with qualitative research, including in-depth interviews and focus groupsFacilitate and set up other research approaches as needed, including diary studies, discussion boards and co-creation labsHelp develop better member feedback channels and assist with recruiting research respondentsManage and field the day-to-day administration of set continuous member experience tracking surveysDevelop and maintain dashboards for key stakeholder groups with a focus on usability and look & feel as well as produce regular reporting, ensuring insightful & actionable informationStay across industry trends and emerging technologies and support data security principlesSupport the GM Brand and Reputation and the Senior Manager Consumer Insights on administrative matters and other duties as required.What You'll BringTertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g marketing, statistics, communications, psychology, science with psychology) or relevant industry experience1–2 years of relevant experience in market or consumer researchSome understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologiesSome experience with questionnaire design, quantitative analysis, and reportingProven ability to synthesise data from a range of sources and present findings effectivelyStrong numeracy, statistical and analytical skills with proficiency in ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProject management skills, exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational ability, and great time managementA natural curiosity and willingness to try different approaches with a genuine interest in market research methodologies and emerging technologiesDesirable experience (not essential): Managing qualitative research (focus groups, interviews), understanding of complex quantitative techniques, and computer literacy with survey software such as Forsta, Qualtrics or similar, bulletin board platforms, Q Research, R and PowerPoint.What's in it for you?At the NRMA we aren’t just about discounts (although you do get these too).
