LAUGFS continues to expand and empower millions as a trusted Sri Lankan brand.We are looking for University Interns who will have an opportunity to develop in procurement function under the Group Supply Chain division. As an intern your traineeship will include:Identify purchasing requirement.Calling Quotation and supplier evaluation.Create Orders using SAP system.Negotiations with suppliersCreate Orders using SAP systemFollow up the deliveries until goods/services receivedVendor Management.Category Management.Qualifications & required skillsMust possess degree in Supply chain/ Material Management, finance or equivalent professional qualification.Good command in Sinhalese & EnglishStrong interpersonal skills as you must be able to negotiate and collaborate with vendors at many different levels.Sound knowledge in MS Excel, Power BI will be an added advantage.Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.The selected candidate will receive an attractive remuneration package in keeping with the prevailing market standards.
