The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world class service. ResponsibilitiesOversee all purchase orders, adjust purchase patterns, and monitor shipment and production schedules to meet ResponsibilitiesEvaluate vendor performance to ensure lowest cost, highest quality, and timely deliveriesResponsible for all site-based procurements of construction materials viz RMC, Cement, Steel, Consumables, Tools & Tackles, Spares, Electrical Items etc Purchase Order originator for all purchases based on the Purchase Requisition given by User DepartmentsResponsible for timely delivery of material at project site.Coordinate with Stores for timely GRN process. Coordinate with Vendors for timely submission of bills. Coordinate with SSC Payment Centre for any disputes in bill processing.Provide weekly reports to their respective Cluster Material Managers on procurement status as per objectives/ targetsQualificationsB.Tech /B.E. (Civil/ Mechanical preferred) or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience10+ years' of supply chain experienceStrong negotiation and influencing skills
