SVP/Director - Project Financing

Our ClientOur client is a leading international bank with a strong regional footprint across Asia and beyond. They are seeking an experienced Project Finance leader to drive origination, structuring, and execution of complex transport and aviation financing across the Asia–Pacific region.Key ResponsibilitiesOriginate and evaluate project financing opportunities exclusively in transport and aviation, including airports, airlines/aircraft, rail/rolling stock, urban transit, roads/toll roads, ports, and logistics infrastructure.Structure, negotiate, and execute bespoke debt solutions (e.g., limited-recourse PF, ECA/MLA-backed, leases, hybrids, refinancing), ensuring strong commercial, legal, and risk outcomes.Lead transaction execution, modelling, due diligence, documentation, and syndication in partnership with internal stakeholders and global teams.Work closely with the specialised credit team, applying strong credit knowledge to support approvals and risk frameworks.Develop and deepen relationships with corporates, sponsors, SOEs, ECAs/MLAs, lessors, and financial counterparties to expand the bank’s regional franchise.Produce market insights, client materials, and strategic initiatives to support business development and strengthen competitiveness in transport and aviation.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline.Minimum 10 years’ experience in project/structured finance with a proven track record in transport and/or aviation across Asia–Pacific.Demonstrated experience in origination, structuring, and execution of large-scale or cross-border transactions (e.g., airport expansions, rolling stock, aircraft/engine financings, ECA-supported deals, PPP/concessions).Strong modelling, negotiation, stakeholder management, and documentation skills; able to lead complex deals end-to-end.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence in senior client and regulatory interactions.Application ProcessPlease submit your resume to Emily Tan at et@empowerpartners.sg, quoting the job title.
