Job summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in an international environment and the ability to thrive under pressure. This role requires a professional with strong technical expertise, attention to detail and the resilience to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Key responsibilities: Manage daily accounting operations, monthly closing and statutory reporting for the Swedish, Lithuanian and Danish entities in compliance with local regulations. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of bookkeeping and financial records.
Prepare statutory financial statements and act as a point of contact for external auditors. Prepare VAT and tax reports in accordance with local requirements. Support accounts payable, accounts receivable and invoicing activities when needed. Collaborate closely with the finance team both locally and globally. Participate in the development and improvement of financial processes and systems. Prepare and submit statutory filings and regulatory reports. Provide support for internal reporting and management’s information needs. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes. Key Qualifications: Demonstrate resilience in managing tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or CFA preferred). Several years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an international environment. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or OneStream and MS office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skillsFluency in Finnish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of Swedish, Lithuanian or Danish is an advantage. Knowledge of IFRS and taxation/financial regulations. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and deliver results under pressure.
For obtaining an airport access permit a security clearance will be conducted; therefore, a clean background record is required. Personal Attributes: Highly analytical, detail-oriented and organized.
