Candidates need to have a strong grasp of private banking/wealth management processes especially in the Finance and Credit domains.YOUR CHALLENGEGeneralDefine IT Asia’s architecture roadmap and landscape in line with the business strategy of the bankLead the system architecture areas in the initiatives by providing architecture runways, solution blueprints, architecture NFRs & trade-offsSupport the architecture governance to manage architecture debts, architecture standards and guidelinesManage and drive proof of concepts on new technologies and tools that may be required for supporting the business initiativesClient Management (internal & external)Participate and contribute to IT Architecture strategy of the bank by working together within the architecture COEProvide technical guidance to project teams along the entire software development lifecycleRegulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk ManagementDemonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulationsYOUR PROFILEPersonal and SocialAble to handle verbal and written communication where the main language used for internal and external communication is EnglishAble to explain designs and solutions to developers and business users alikeStrong leadership skills in matrix organizational setup, ability to lead, mentor and coach team members and developersPassionate and efficient self-learner in order to adopt new technologies and methodologies to create business valueProfessional and TechnicalBachelor/Master degree in Engineering or Computer science10+ years of experience in design and implementation of enterprise systems in banking domain, preferably private banking/wealth managementKnowledge of architecture frameworks like TOGAF or ZachmannStrong collaboration skills across hierarchy levels and organizational boundariesVery good knowledge and experience in modern web technologiesProficiency in enterprise technologies such as Java EE, spring boot, databases like Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL, integration technologies like IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus, event streaming platform like Apache KafkaExperience in implementing cloud native applicationsExperience in implementing DevOps principles in the organisationExperience in implementing Machine Learning based solutions is good to haveWe are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
