We are proud to introduce an exciting opportunity within Global Retail Brands, Australia's premier specialty homewares retailer, boasting a vast network of over 300 stores nationwide. We are actively seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator to join our esteemed People & Culture team.In this pivotal role, you will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager, contributing as a key member of the People & Culture team. Your support will extend across various functions, including HR, Payroll and the Retail Operations team.As the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure an outstanding employee experience. This encompasses activities ranging from candidate screening and onboarding to the creation of employment contracts, along with providing crucial assistance during induction processes. Join us in shaping an environment where talent thrives and contributes to our collective success.Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:Leading the onboarding process to ensure all administrative requisites are completed and comply with legal requirementsPre-employment checks such as Health Declarations and Visas, to ensure new employees meet fitness and immigration requirementsAssist in the recruitment process and coordinate interviews of the recruitment of the retail management and casual rolesIssue employment contracts, policies, and all other relevant documentsAddress new employee queries regarding contracts and onboarding processes and provide system support to employees throughout the onboarding processAbout you: 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, or a recent HR graduate/someone currently studying HR and wanting to gain experience in the industryGood working knowledge of TA and/or HR practices, award interpretation, and employment conditionsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentExcellent attention to detail, time management and organization skillsExceptional communication skills (verbal and written)An ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationThis full-time position offers the opportunity for a passionate Talent Acquisition Manager to join to join a fast-paced, highly dynamic P&C Team, and to help support and contribute towards the growth of Global Retail Brands.
