Job Description

25 hours per week (Monday - Friday) Collaborative & supportive team Auckland CBD office + work from home options About The RoleAre you a detail-oriented professional ready to provide the tax administration function for our Business Advisory Services team? This is a part time role - ideally 9.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday, however for the right person there is some flexibility here.You will work closely with experienced Partners and their teams to ensure that their clients are IRD and tax compliant. This role will see you updating the Xero Practice Manager (XPM) tax database for new and existing clients and maintaining a good relationship with IRD. You will also be responsible for filing income tax and GST returns through XPM tax and producing various reports from XPM and IRD to assist teams with provisional tax, terminal tax and understanding filing percentages.About YouExceptional communications skills, both written and verbal Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with wider team, and stakeholders Confidence with systems and MS Office suite- advanced excel Superb organisation and time management About Our CompanyGrant Thornton New Zealand is a member of an ambitious global organisation providing audit, tax, and advisory services to dynamic organisations to unlock their potential for growth.
