There really is only one question: What impact do YOU want to make?Our Finance team is looking for an Operations & Systems Support Senior Analyst to join our Auckland office!Job DescriptionThe team you’ll joinThis is a client-facing role within the national finance team, focused on delivering operational excellence across finance systems and processes. You’ll ensure data accuracy, system compliance, and the smooth execution of billing activities. As the first point of contact for system-related queries, you’ll support client-facing teams and fee preparers across the firm. Your work will directly contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting and the efficiency of the client-to-cash cycle.The impact you’ll makeThis is a critical role in helping the business navigate complex billing scenarios, testing and implementing system changes and maintaining engagement and client data. The role demands precision, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.Your Typical Day May IncludeProviding timely and professional support for billing system queries, ensuring fees are raised accurately and in line with business processes.Delivering regular and ad hoc reporting (e.g. timesheets, WIP, agency reports) with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement.Monitoring the integrity of billing data, ensuring job ownership details are current and that job openings and closures follow established protocols.Conducting regular reviews of aged WIP and interim fees, working with the business to resolve anomalies and improve billing efficiency.Supporting system enhancements by participating in testing, documenting changes, and communicating updates to stakeholders.Maintaining up-to-date finance process documentation and ensuring business-facing updates are accurate and accessible.Assisting with month-end processes, including reconciliation of WIP and debtor balances, and preparing reports to support financial close activities.Identifying opportunities to improve billing and reporting processes, contributing to operational excellence across the finance function.QualificationsYour expertiseBring your attention to detail, systems knowledge, and collaborative mindset to help us deliver financial excellence. You’ll also have:2-4 years’ experience in practice or revenue management including billing/invoicing, revenue reporting and change management.A background in business and/or finance operations.A good understanding of accounting principles.Knowledge and experience in SAP (beneficial).Proven organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and ability to juggle prioritiesStrong Excel skills and the ability to manipulate data efficiently and accurately.Additional InformationSo, who is Deloitte in Aotearoa?We are driven to create an impact that matters at every opportunity.
