Company Description The Department of Education (DepEd) is the executive agency responsible for overseeing basic education in the Republic of the Philippines. It develops and implements policies, programs, and projects in both formal and non-formal basic education. DepEd supervises all elementary and secondary education institutions, including alternative learning systems, across both public and private sectors. Its mission is to ensure a complete, adequate, and integrated system of basic education that supports national development goals. Currently, the department is under the leadership of Secretary Sonny A. Angara, serving in the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Teacher based in the National Capital Region, Philippines. The Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering effective lesson plans, facilitating classroom learning for elementary and/or secondary students, and assessing student progress. Additionally, the role includes preparing teaching materials, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and collaborating with peers to enhance educational programs. Teachers are expected to adhere to national education standards and contribute to student success through innovative approaches. Qualifications Proficiency in Lesson Planning and creating engaging and effective instructional materials.Strong skills in Teaching and Education, with a deep understanding of curriculum design and delivery.Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with students and colleagues.Experience in Training or mentoring students, and the ability to encourage and motivate learners.Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).Professional teaching certification from DepEd or relevant qualifications.Proficiency in utilizing technology and digital tools for education is an advantage.
