VACANCY: Technical Installations Supervisor / Installation CoordinatorHilton Hotel Project – SurinameAbout the projectWe are looking for an experienced Technical Installations Supervisor for our prestigious Hilton hotel project in Suriname. The project consists of a 5-storey main building with 46 guest rooms and 3 master suites, plus outbuildings including villas, restaurants, a gym, swimming pool and helipad.The main structure has been completed and we are now in the crucial phase of installing and finishing all technical systems. Handover is scheduled for December 2026.Role descriptionAs Technical Installations Supervisor, you are responsible for the coordination, control and supervision of all installation works (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire safety and special systems). You ensure that all installations are carried out in accordance with technical drawings, specifications and international standards. You report to the project management, which will approve the works afterwards.Key responsibilitiesTechnical coordinationCoordinate all installation works (MEP: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)Ensure installations are carried out in accordance with technical drawings and specificationsDaily inspection of works performed by installers and subcontractorsMonitor technical quality and executionIdentify and resolve technical problems and discrepanciesSystems and disciplinesElectrical installations: power, emergency power, lighting, data/telecomMechanical installations: HVAC (air conditioning, ventilation), pipingSanitary installations: water supply, sewage, hot water systemsFire safety systems: sprinklers, fire detection, emergency lighting (in accordance with NFPA standards)Special systems: BMS (Building Management System), access control, CCTVQuality control and complianceCheck that works comply with drawings and specificationsEnsure compliance with international standards (NFPA 72, NFPA 101, IBC 2021)Perform inspections and quality checksDocument deviations and ensure corrections are implementedPrepare works for approval by project managementDocumentation and reportingTrack technical progress per disciplinePrepare weekly reports on installation worksManage as-built drawings and revisionsCollect certificates, attestations and test resultsPrepare documentation packages for handoverCoordination and planningCoordinate between different installation disciplinesPrevent conflicts between systemsPlan installation phases and dependenciesCoordinate with structural works and finishing tradesOrganise technical coordination meetingsRequirementsRequiredAt least 5 years of experience as technical supervisor, installation coordinator or MEP coordinatorStrong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical and sanitary installationsExperience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsKnowledge of international building codes and standards (NFPA, IBC)Experience with fire safety systems (sprinklers, detection)Proven experience coordinating multiple installation disciplinesFluent in Dutch (must);
