Technical Project ManagerNAVTOR is expanding, and we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) at HQ in Egersund.This is a site-based position. While NAVTOR offers flexibility in working hours and remote collaboration, the role required on-site presence in Egersund to stay close to the teams, products, and key stakeholders.You wil play a vital role in delivering multiple cross-functional technology projects - combining solid project management with strong technical understanding of software development and system architecture - ensuring delivery, quality, and alignment between development teams, product management, and corporate strategy.You’ll operate within NAVTOR’s established project management framework while adapting to the needs of distributed agile teams and complex product environments.About NAVTORNAVTOR is a global leader in e-Navigation and performance solutions for the maritime industry. You’ll be part of an international team creating integrated digital solutions that contribute to decarbonizing global shipping—across our four business units: e-Navigation, Performance, Analytics, and OEM, offering you a rewarding and diverse workday.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage technical software projects from concept to completion.Translate between technical and business perspectives to ensure shared understanding and effective delivery.Collaborate with product management, architects, and development teams to define scope, milestones, and dependencies.Proactively manage risks, budgets, and schedules across distributed teams.Ensure proper handover of deliverables and maintain transparent stakeholder communication.Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO methods and tools to strengthen delivery performance.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years’ experience leading technology or software projects in an agile environment.Solid understanding of software development processes, IT systems, APIs, and cloud architecture.Proven ability to coordinate technical discussions and make informed decisions based on both technical and commercial priorities.Experience working in global, cross-functional organizations.Excellent English communication skills — both technical and business-oriented.PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage but not mandatory.Personal qualifications:Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.Confident in engaging with developers, architects, and product managers.Comfortable balancing structure and flexibility in complex environments.Motivates teams and drives accountability without micromanaging.Thrives on parallel initiatives and manages time and priorities effectively.We can offer:An opportunity to influence the future of maritime technology.A position with high autonomy and visible impact on NAVTOR’s strategic deliveries.Collaboration with expert teams in software, data, and maritime innovation.Competitive pension, insurance, and flexible work arrangements.A modern, engaging workplace in Egersund Forum, with a strong social culture.Are you the person we are looking for? Send your application today!
