DescriptionFTC TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVEPAPER TECHNOLOGIES, COASTALLocation: Umkomaas, South AfricaLanguage(s) Requirements: EnglishSeniority Level: Intermediate LevelEmployment Type: Fixed TermA 1 Year Fixed Term Contract Technical Sales Representative position has become available in the Paper Technologies Division, based in Sappi Saiccor.QualificationsA Degree or National Diploma or equivalent in Pulp and Paper / Chemistry/ Biochemistry / Microbiology / Chemical Engineering is a pre-requisite. ExperienceA minimum of 6 months’ relevant technical sales experience in the Pulp & Paper industry will be an advantage.Responsibilities Include But Not Limited ToAccurate chemical application to the pulping and bleaching processes, cooling water systems, liquid solid separation, boiler water systems and other chemical applications as requiredLaboratory and on-site chemical evaluation related to chemical performance in various processesAccurate interpretation of chemistry related to all chemical applications100% continuity of chemical supply, inclusive of deliveries and housekeeping.Strict adherence/compliance with customer standards/required results, chemical and plant related.Accurate budget and general administrationMaintain and improve SHERQ performance to deliver targeted sales at the lowest possible risk to the company.The successful candidate will be a people-person, practically orientated, able to handle pressure, a problem solver and a team member who is self-motivated.
