The successful applicant/s will report to Dr. Marcelle Stastny & Mr Aslam Barends (practice manager) POSITION SUMMARY:The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician is responsible for providing patient care under direct supervision of a psychiatrist, The TMS technician will operate transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) machines to provide FDA approved TMS treatments to patients with major depressive disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders in the Rewire TMS Clinics.Roles & Responsibilities (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation TMS Role):Administer TMS FDA approved treatmentsPatient observation during treatments ensuring patients is comfortableAdheres to Rewire TMS Clinic work practices, policies, and procedures, including all protocols.Performs other clerical duties and tasks to improve clinic workflow as assigned, such as completing patient visit records, checking in patients, and scheduling patient appointments.Personal Relationships:Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and colleagues.Must be able to maintain a high level of adaptability and excel with interpersonal skills.Must demonstrate commitment and ability to advance diversity and inclusion.Internal Contacts:Within DepartmentManagementRisk ManagementSafety & Infection ControlMarketingBusiness OfficeExternal Contacts:PatientsFamiliesVisitorsOther from time-to-timePosition requires the ability to work in multiples spaces (on and off site)Minimum Qualifications:Grade 12/Matric Certificate.At least one (1) year of experience in health care related field.
