Tekla Modeler and Steel Detailer

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working for the TEKLA and Steel Detailing. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONAL DUTIES:Create 3D models from samples and/or from 2D drawingsModel all the needed steel in the Tekla modelCreate shop drawings for immediate productionMust possess the ability to read and interpret sketchesAbility to read construction plansMust be able to handle several projects at once with minimum help or guidelines from departmentCreate structural & miscellaneous models (model & connect) to develop shop drawings for usethe client for fabrication of the individual pieces of steel.Creates erection drawings to be used by the steel fabricator and erector to assemble the steelin the field.Interpret and incorporate approval comments, design changes and other revisions into the scope of the projectModeling with respect to structural drawing & architectural drawings.Should do the Preliminary model check and Clash check.Capable of raising and preparation of RFIGood knowledge in Template and reports preparation with respect to client requirementShould Generate the GA drawings, Shop drawings, Erection drawings with related reports and NC filesGood knowledge in preparing Bill of Material, Title block as per client requirementShould able to edit the drawings in the case of urgencySkilled in performing calculations of metal structures (MK).Experience in preparing KM/KMD, executive documentation, and technical reports. Experience working with TQ/SQ, interdisciplinary approvals and construction support. Attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to work on a tight schedule. COMPETENCIESBachelor’s degree Holder with Higher technical education (construction / civil engineering). Must be able to conversant in English and Russian Language basically English — at the level of reading and understanding technical documentation (preferably conversational). Excellent knowledge of building codes (SNiP, JV, Eurocode, ACI, BS, etc.).Good attention to detail and accuracy in written work.Work experience in design and/or construction from 3-5 years in steel detailing with Tekla Structures.Practical work experience in Tekla Structures or Advance Steel is required. Proficient with AutoCAD, 2010 or newer preferredSelf-starter, motivated with ability to start and finish a project on timeProficient in all Microsoft Office
