We foster positive community impact while providing our team with opportunities for professional growth, encouraging every employee to feel like an integral part of our journey towards sustainability.The RoleWe believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our Construction team.The person will be working closely with the technical, commercial and procurement departments within Gransolar Group in Australia and have a good understanding of the company's global capabilities and focus areas.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssessment of tender documentation received from the client, ensuring a full and complete understanding of the technical and commercial requirements.Planning of the preparation of the tender, to ensure the proposal is compliant, is submitted on time, and is within budget.Coordination of preliminary engineering to be performed as part of the tender on the basis of the requirements from the end Client. Selection of main equipment, technology to be used, site specific particularities to be accounted for, etc.Coordination with the legal and construction teams to complete the mark-up of the contract schedules.Engagement with clients to communicate GRS expertise and experience in the sector, to understand the tenders they are running, and to seek potential collaboration schemes.Engagement with subcontractors and suppliers to get specific quotes for the different projects, clarification of their queries, and assessment of their offers once received.Preparation of the tender including: budget preparation, execution strategy, site visit and project conditions review, identification of main risks and mitigation measures, preparation of the construction schedule.When a project is awarded, interface with the client and coordination of the contract negotiations and lenders due diligence during the EPC and O&M contracts closing.Skills & Experience Required:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science required.Master’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration preferred.Knowledge of large scale solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).Why Join Us?Gransolar Group is more than an industry leader—we’re a team driven by innovation, sustainability, and support.
