Test Automation Engineer

TTC Global is supporting a significant transformation for one of Australia’s leading banks, and we’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer who can step straight into a fast-paced project. You’ll work as part of a small, experienced team building automated end-to-end testing across LoanWorks workflows, including loan origination and refinancing.What You’ll Be DoingBuilding end-to-end automated tests using Playwright and TypeScriptTesting SOAP and REST APIs, including mocking and integrating API checks into UI flowsManaging synthetic test data for clean, isolated, repeatable test executionWorking within TTC’s automation architecture and coding standardsUsing Git and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)Testing messaging workflows such as SMS and email, including mocking external dependenciesSupporting performance and load testing using tools like k6 or JMeterTroubleshooting environment, integration and access issues across multiple systemsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end automationProficiency in TypeScript and maintainable coding practicesHands-on API testing experience across SOAP and RESTExperience generating and managing synthetic test dataFamiliarity with CI/CD and version controlExperience testing messaging or notification workflowsBackground in banking or financial services is preferredExperience with loan origination or refinancing workflows is highly regarded
