Job SummaryIf you are a Test Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning automated test stations to support new product introductions (NPI) and sustaining production. You will translate product requirements into robust test solutions by integrating hardware, software, and instrumentation. This role involves hands-on development of test applications, debugging, and validation to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, drive continuous improvement, and uphold safety and quality standards across all test processes.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Design, develop, and commission test station for new and existing products.Create test station requirements, procedures, and documentation in alignment with product requirements and standards.Develop and debug automated test software (eg, Visual Basic, C++, C#, Python, etc).Integrate test instrumentation, fixtures, and interfaces with data acquisition systems (DAQs, PXI, NI, Keysight, etc.).Provide technical support to production teams to resolve test station or product test failures.Troubleshoot and repair test hardware, fixtures, and automation systems.Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy.Support production and manufacturing in troubleshooting test-related issues.Ensure test stations comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Prepare and maintain test specifications, setup drawings, and software documentation.Manage revision control for test programs and hardware.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor based on business needs.Who You Are:You are a detail-oriented and analytical engineer with a strong foundation in electronics and programming. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and take pride in developing reliable, efficient test solutions that enable smooth production. You are decisive and make high-quality decisions, even when based on incomplete information or in the face of uncertainty.
