The focus is on migrating in-house Jira and Confluence platforms into a new cloud-based environment, with a specialist implementation partner driving delivery. This is a high‑profile initiative designed to modernise tooling, improve workflows, and enable SaaS adoption at scale.Your new roleAs the Test and Release Manager, you will take ownership of testing strategy and release management across this migration programme. With 80% of your focus on testing and 20% on release, you will:Lead batch testing, UAT testing, and assurance activities.Configure Jira workflows, plugins, and ticketing to support delivery.Act as SME for Jira and Confluence migration to cloud.Develop strategic planning for the migration and rollout.Manage release cycles, deployment readiness, and stakeholder communication.Partner with the implementation partner to ensure fit‑for‑purpose delivery.Engage senior stakeholders to align programme objectives with business priorities.What you'll need to succeedProven experience in large enterprise rollouts and cloud migrations.Strong expertise in Jira and Confluence, including configuration, workflows, and plugins.Knowledge of migrating Jira and Confluence to the cloud.Experience with SaaS tooling and AI‑enabled cloud implementations.Demonstrated ability to lead batch testing, UAT testing, and assurance.Strategic planning capability for enterprise migrations.Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working closely with senior leaders and third parties.What you'll get in returnOpportunity to lead a high‑profile enterprise programme.Exposure to cloud migration and SaaS tooling at scale.Collaboration with senior leaders and a specialist implementation partner.A role that combines strategic influence with hands‑on testing and release management.
