POSITION SUMMARYAs a Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will drive company performance by leading store operations, developing high-performing teams, and growing revenue across your designated territory. This role is essential in translating The Fitness Connection’s brand values into daily execution, delivering on KPIs, and ensuring our in-store teams operate with energy, consistency, and excellence. The RSM will also serve as a key liaison between headquarters and retail teams, supporting new product rollouts, promotions, and operational initiatives. OBJECTIVES Meet or exceed regional monthly and quarterly sales goals across all locations. Recruit, train, and retain top-performing store managers and sales associates. Ensure SOPs are followed across all stores including merchandising, inventory, and customer service.
Lead flawless execution of company-wide promotional campaigns and new product launches. Expand market penetration through local events, community partnerships, and brand outreach. Monitor and maintain a 5-star customer satisfaction standard across your region. Maintain brand consistency and premium merchandising standards in every location. Optimize labor costs to meet payroll budgets without compromising service or performance. Partner with store leadership to manage shrink, ensure stock levels, and support transfers. Deliver regular coaching and performance reviews to develop front-line leaders. Ensure all locations follow legal, safety, and HR compliance standards.
Provide timely reporting on regional performance, challenges, and wins to executive leadership. Partner with HQ (marketing, HR, logistics) to roll out new programs and feedback loopsCOMPETENCIESProven ability to inspire and manage multiple store teams. Able to quickly assess and resolve regional challenges. Comfortable interpreting sales and labor data to make smart decisions. Strong prioritization across competing regional demands. Aligns with our values of hustle, health, and high standards. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE5+ years of multi-unit retail or fitness store leadership experience required. Experience in the fitness, supplement, or apparel industry strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in managing sales targets, people development, and territory operations. Proficiency with POS systems, reporting tools, and labor management platforms. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to travel 50–75% of the time within assigned region.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (product, merchandising). Standing and walking for extended periods during store visits or events. Occasional evenings or weekends required for store visits, events, or peak retail periods.
