IntroductionJob DescriptionThe Deputy Manager Purchase is responsible for developing and administering all procurement related activities, will take a leadership role in executing effective and efficient procurement. Ensuring values and competencies in maintaining transparency, integrity and compliance in accordance with established rules and regulations of IHHN Procurement policy. Ensure Cost effective & timely procurement of all supplies at IHHN. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, lead and execute purchasing strategies, responsible for introducing process improvements and manage the entire process in the planning of procurement and supply chain activities.
Supervise the procurement of direct material for the IHN & determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, strategies, policies and plans for direct materials. To ensure cost effective procurement & timely delivery of supplies in coordination with Hospital's committees (Formulary P&T, PES Committees etc. )Implement strategic procurement including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management and performance measurementMonitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand, determine quantity and timing of deliveries, ensure & verify the POs prices in HMlS/P2P.
Negotiating contracts and rates with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements for the Indus Health NetworkDefine and oversee the purchase key performance indicators to keep all activities on trackRequirment7 years of prior work experience required, with at least 1 year, as Management role. Pharm DMaster's degree commensurate to the role/position from an institute of repute.
